What is laser toning?

Laser toning is a form of laser tattoo removal that uses laser technology to remove unwanted pigment from old tattoos on the eyebrows. The laser targets the pigment particles to lighten the colour over time. Most of the time, we can remove grey, blue, orange or red eyebrows.

How long is the procedure?

The scheduled appointment time is 15 minutes, where we will brief you on the procedure and then we will complete the laser toning on the desired area. Usually we do 2 passes on each eyebrow and each pass is around 30 seconds to 1 minute long.

Does it hurt?

This procedure does hurt and we will cool it down with an ice pack once we complete the procedure. Most clients will feel pain between 6-7 out of 10, if 10 is the most painful. It has a similar feeling to elastic bands hitting the skin where the laser is targeting.

Do I need follow-up sessions?

Depending on how dark/deep the pigment is, some clients might need 2 - 4 session to remove the colour to their desired lightness.

What is the healing process like?

You might experience redness, bruising or swelling in the targeted area but usually will subside within 1 - 3 days.

What is the after care instructions?

You can use an ice pack to cool the skin for the next 2 - 3 days. Keep the skin on that area clean and dry.

Am I an ideal candidate for this procedure?

Laser toning is a relatively safe and reliable procedure and suitable for most people.  However, if you have any of the following conditions, please consult with your doctor before attempting this procedure and bring a doctor's note with you to your appointment.  If you have any of the following conditions and do not have a legitimate doctor's note with approval, we cannot perform this procedure for you. There are no exceptions to this rule.

• Pregnant and/or breast-feeding

• Diabetic

• On blood thinning medication

• Have had injections/fillers in the brow area within the last 2 months
